In late 2022, Leadworkers got in touch asking to create an online store for their lead and roofing product shop they were launching. They had some promising USPs but needed visual branding and an easy way of selling their products online.

I began with the logo and wanted to create something that fitted the industry, was recognisable but simple and modern looking, as well as working well on light and dark backgrounds, as a logo mark or full logo. I created the silhouette shape of a lead sheet roll and the business name in bold block lettering.

For the selling platform I recommended Shopify as as the best option because of it being the industry standard in e-commerce. As Shopify doesn't have the native functionality to do certain things, I integrated 3rd party apps like bulk ordering to give them a product they could use and scale.
